Grand Slam Baby!
I am a proud papa (even more proud) when recently, my one & only received 4 awards for excellence in her school.A consistent "A" honor roll student, first in speech contest, beat out everyone in spelling bee competition, and best in science.
She is now called the "grand slam kid" in school. Thanks to the comment made by the Principal when he yelled my daughter's name to receive the awards.
He said "You are now looking at the very first grand slam right there!!!"
Well, what can I say? Nag-mana sa ina? hehehe
