Someone commented about this song...it's a soundtrack from that basketball movie "One on One". The year 1977 when this song from Seals & Crofts hit the music chart.Interesting lyrics now that I realized it...
"Share, sleep with me if you dare / Celebrate my fair share"...
...what the @$*$# ???
The song echoed on prom night in the open court as the boys scrambled to find the apple of their eyes....
...guided his chosen soul through the somber dark night, then both slowly and gently swing back & forth like a swan...
Some boys were just to nervous to ask and too worried of the threat of someone else grabbing the one they liked...
while some of the girls were just to shy to look, let alone hold hands with....
...the moment felt like eternity to some, but too short to others...as the music dominated their ears making it hard for anyone to recognize what was being mumbled...
...the thrills and chills of that memorable night.
I had my fair share... wink wink! ;-)

I wish I have my share of the love and happiness of that last prom I had. But my mind is somewhere in the future. Yes, hopefully for the next Prom which never came. Hence, that was my last dance.
