The Great Expectation

As we move closer to the date, I wonder what kind of expectations some of you have knowing this event has been in the planning for quite sometime now.

For some of us, there's great expectation, especially from those who are traveling from outside the country.

Suffice it to say that this reunion for them is no ordinary.

Given the amount of time we have planning, and the financial support we are getting, it's hard to argue why this event will not be a success.

I guess it's all comes down to the decision-making and how quickly they'll be implemented. I wish i'm right in the middle of all of it (physically) so I can thrust my wishful thinking into real actions...

...so that there would be no more clouds hovering over all of us, or at least over most of us, who are too alienated by the whole process.

Meanwhile, I hope we don't get caught up with the details of it and focus more on the outset of having a simple, yet unforgettable experience.

Ewan ko ba kung bakit ganito lagi ako. May OCD yata ako! hahaha...you know, obsessive compulsive disorder :-)

I've always been the guy who would like to get things done as soon as possible and not to wait the last minute, never ever procrastinate!

Pardon me for being too result-oriented....

Sabi kasi dun sa kwento nung elementary tayo, "Daig ng maagap ang masipag" eh!

bro, salawikain yun , hindi kwento, pardon my correction. tama ka, dapat lahat result-oriented. among those things we all are preparing, venue, set up, programs, games, sing-along,dances, foods&drinks, etc., i still firmly stand on the the neccessity of having a massive major attendees issue, the more the merrier.
we have fun at eva's bday bash, with mr.villarante naging mas nostalgic&blissfull.i know mas pa when our reunion comes. regards &GODBLESS US ALL!

Having "a massive major attendees" is not a "necessity" but more of a wishful thinking. Of course, we all desire to have a "full attendance" but we all know that's not going to happen! We can only hope for the best!

and by the way, I learned that so-called "salawikain" from a story in a book in grade school about a boy who's too excited to join a school trip. He talked about it so much that he forgot to prepare the stuff he needs for the trip, and was too lazy to get up in the morning. He waited the last minute to get up from bed, hurriedly gathered all his stuff, then realized naiwan na pala sya ng bus!

Thanks to all who's been nice enough to help in the planning.

Good luck!

maybe we should resort to a countdown. less than a month and a half na at "ber" na po the following months. kapag nag-umpisa na ang "ber", malapit na malapit na, as if a mother expecting for a baby or a big balloon na malapit na pumutok. everybody's expecting and preparing. i just hope everything will go as scheduled. i am always keeping my finger crossed na walang sasablay sa scheds ko. alhamdullilah!
