New venue in town
The committee continues to work on the details of our reunion.A meeting was held on Aug. 10th, with the following attendees: Lilia, Joey, Marcy, Wena, Eva & Sir Ed V, program coordinator.
A much more appropriate venue has been decided: ACI resort, Cut-cot (behind Academia de Pulilan). More appealing and logistically better than the previously considered Cresta del Carmen resort. The committee are still trying to haggle the price which stands at 10K pesos from 10AM-10PM, exclusive of 100 pesos per head for dipping at the pool.
Also, the following sub-committees have been formed to handle different aspects of the event:
Program
Tickets & Souvenier Program
Food and Cocktails
Publicity
Stage and Physical Arragement
Invitation (local and abroad)
Technical
T shirts and Prizes (Raffle)
Reception and Documentations
Finances and Logistics
Next meeting is scheduled this Friday, August 17th @ Eva's house, coinciding with the celebration of Ester dJ birthday and also, "despedida" for Lil who'll be flying back to Taiwan soon.
Hopefully, many will attend the next meeting so that bodies can be assigned to the different sub-committees mentioned above.
Please let us know if any of you would like to volunteer and have any ideas you would like to share.

Here’s what I envisioned:
Stage & Physical Arrangements:
1. Lots of balloons everywhere.
2. A couple of large poster displays on stage.
3. Original tarpaulin banner displayed, if still available
4. Tables & chairs systematically arranged.
5. Microphone, Sound system & Video presentation equipment all set
6. Food & Drinks set in one corner - Arranged Buffet style
Reception & Documentations:
1. 2 to 3-Staff handling the registration
2. Attendees signing-in on registration log book; and receive program outline, souvenir items, t-shirts, raffle tickets etc.
3. Sticker for name tag on attendee’s chest.
Here’s what I can do:
I am willing to work on the large posters, the souvenir program, and the registration log book.
Unless you have any other ideas in mind or even objections to my proposal, I will work on the overall designs of the posters, the log book, and the souvenir program, (with your input of course) and it’s either I print them all here and bring them with me on my trip back there, OR just email you all the files and make arrangements to print them yourselves there (I would think it is much cheaper to do the printing there and less trouble with me carrying that stuff on the plane.)
We will conduct as much design iterations necessary until we achieve the full satisfaction of everyone involve OR you can all leave it up to me to make it nice and pretty ;-)
Also, if you all ok’d it, and you have ideas/information you want me to incorporate onto the designs, please email me the information and I’ll make sure to include them.

BTW, I WOULD LIKE TO CALL ON OUR CLASSMATES TO FEEL FREE TO CHOOSE THE PARTICULAR COMMITTEE YOU WOULD LIKE TO WORK WITH. WE NEED YOUR HELPING HANDS TO DO THINGS AND MAKE OUR REUNION THE BEST ONE EVER.
