Logistically Speaking
We are really coming close to the date we've been waiting for. Everyone, well most, are just as excited as me.However, as of this posting, there are logistics that have not been settled yet.
First and foremost is the venue for the event.
Unless we hold it in a restaurant or similar establishments, the venue shouldn't be dependent on the number of people attending. After all, aren't we looking for a resort where privacy and amenities are of most importance?
From my understanding, private resorts don't care about the head count as long as it doesn't exceed their maximum capacity.
They just care about the date & time (and of course the money), you'd want the place reserved for you.
Am I right or am i right? ;-)
So I suppose a good estimate of the number of attendees is well...should I say...good enough?
I have no concept of the demands for good private resorts during the season we will have our reunion.
Should we not worry that by the time we have the confirmation of the number of attendees, if we ever know it, the place we wanted is no longer available because someone else already booked the place for themselves?
I suspect we will never really get a confirmation of the number of attendees given the fact that some of your beloved classmates are still undecided or nowhere to be found. Or perhaps some just don't want to be found?
...we just have to work on what we have... now...a ballpark number?

i definitely agree with you. we have to reserve the venue asap. i already wrote a comment on that and i addressed it to joey. the place is the first and the most important thing to consider for now. let us not procrastinate. anyway, we have the fund to cover the reservation fee.

Yup, I agree Lil. Let's not take chances at baka sa kalsada tayo mag reunion pag di na sya available. Although it's a good idea to get a ballpark figure as to how many people can attend but it will be hard to accomplish that. Kung ako tatanungin ninyo, I'll go ahead and make the reservation hanggang maaga.
Besides di ba private yun so ok lang kahit na ilang tayong dumalo. From what I heard malaki naman yung place to accomodate us.
It's getting exciting now guys habang papalapit ng papalapit ang reunion natin. Let's keep the fire going and the honey (a.k.a. money) flowing, hehehehe.

first, walang procastinators among us, there & here, open ang discussion, everyone is a welcome contributors. there is no disagreement on the importance of venue, iba-iba lang ang perspective , ganyan talaga, liligawan lahat para umattend, yung mga pakipot, pag nag-give-in, mas enjoy pa, & there is that thing called, fullfillment.we are trying to match, reciprocate , all the efforts & exitement you all there expresses.whatever decision that will be made, always in consensus.we can all do it.GODBLESS!!!

mas may idea kayo kung kailan ang tamang panahon para magpa-reserve AT kung saan ang tamang lugar na ideal para sa venue natin.
whichever place you all decided is definitely good for us (speaking for everyone outside of the Phil). there will be no argument on that at lalo namang walang ko-kontra!
it's just a matter of making sure the chosen place is actually available when the time comes.

Pareng Joey siguro talagang excited lang talaga kami kaya medyo nadadala ng emosyon, hehehe. Ganyan din ba talaga pag nanliligaw (di ko kasi naranasan yun dahil di ako marunong nun,hahaha)?
Anyways siempre kung ano mapagkasunduan ninyo dyan, ok din kami dito, di ba Zen, Lil, at lahat ng nasa labas ng pinas? Besides alam namin na kayang kaya ninyo yan mga pards and mare's.
Teka bakit wala yatang tao ngayon dito sa bahay blog natin. Bakasyon pa ba kayo mga kapatid...hehehe. Anyways kakagaling ko lang manood ng boxing ni Manny Pacquia. Panalo na naman sya awa ng Diyos (via TKO). Mabuhay si Manny Pacquiao! Mabuhay ang batch '78 (at '74), yehey.

april 15, sunday, dampol 1st fiesta, dinner kami kina kano. besides the regulars, kasama namin sina, victor cruz, jaime balagtas, ariel de leon. naging masaya as usual ang dinner. among us boys, we're considering the networking approach, for each to invite &tag along 5 of our batchmate, as they too will do the same. then we plan to consolidate the boyz-to-men group, as each will commit to attend the event ,doing&sharing their part as well.ok na place for the reunion. on sunday, dinner meeting uli kina wena.another approach is the e-mail, texting, calling, visiting brigade system, as to encourage more, lahat tayo , gusto magkitakita lahat, as much as possible.trying very hard to do such task is our responsibility.magawa ang the best for them & then its up to them to respond.
paging EVA, paki deliver na yung letters natin, at i-post na rin sa internet.must do it.need natin matapos that part for us to be able to move to another level of approach.pasensya na, medyo imposing & empathic, but ganyan lang,walang personalan.tatapusin ang sinimulan, maayos at matagumpay.

classmates, yun ang sad part, overwhelmed sa exitement, nakalimutan mag picture taking, grandioso pa naman set-up nila kano. we'll trty not to omit such necessary things.sayang nga talaga. apat na activity game na ang naprepare namin ng wife ko. we're now on the logistics needed sa event &place, yung resort sa tenejero, like drinks, food, perhaps chairs & tables.sitting arrangement must be done, changing each set every 30 mins, para intermingle lahat,we'll need a videoke para sa songs of 70,s, pati cascade.must compile all old pictures, recent ones, pati yung sa mismong event, make min-film. 5 songs about the past will be used as background.anymore ideas will be highly appreciated.kala nyo kayo lang atat, kami din ah. lets do this reunion.
