Manila, Queen of the Pacific
A short 10-minute clip of the way we were back in the 1930's.Yeah I know! I felt a tinge of sadness and disappointment watching this footage of now lost glory because of war and for the most part neglect by you know who.
Imagine if we didn't have war back then...and now.
I still do remember riding the "kalesa" back in the days. So relax, soul-refreshing, romantic and pure.
Sigh...sigh...sigh...

thanks egay for sharing this with us , husay naman ng presentation na ito thru you , sayang talaga , remember the infamous , " better run like hell by the filipinos , rather than run like heaven by the americans !" , meron pa , " i condemn the spanish encomenderos for imposing taxes , the ususrer for saddling us with debts , impossible to pay !" , eh paano kaya kung merong sumagot ," didn't you know me , look at me well , i am he who in fairer age . rule with grandeur and power , venerated & fear by the absolute god of the filipinos !" sabay paalala , " nasa kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan!" " kung di ngayon , kailan pa , kundi tayo sino pa ?"

It's very nice; like a time machine . . . It's so wonderful to see how our grandparents/great grandparents used to live and dressed up. I never imagine Pasig River was like that before. Same thing with Intramuros and th others. It's really very informative. Amazing that someone had done this film for us and the future to appreciate.
basta ako ang natatandaan ko pa noong elem tayo ay kay ka yayong ako sumasakay( siya lang ang alam kong may karetela noong araw)pag-uwi sa hapon.
