Desperate Husband
I myself wasn't very pleased with that line from that show Desperate Housewives.Here's what Teri Hatcher's line said: "Okay, before we go any further, can I check those diplomas? Coz I would just like to make sure they are not from some med school in the Philippines."
Now, I'm so desperate to tell the show's management that that was a cheap shot against most, if not all of the Filipinos in the medical field!
And i'm also so desperate too to get near Teri Hatcher co'z she's so hot.
Ooppss. sorry, I digress...what can i say, i'm a desperate husband...hehehe
Anyway, I'm sure you're all aware of that recent brouhaha.
Admit it but there's really some truth to it, however, I believe the line will still be funny without mentioning the word "Philippines" or any other country for that matter.
I could understand some of us were offended knowing we Pinoys in general are sensitive people.
Oh well...always, the truth hurts...it just pissed you off at first!
But please..don't get mad at Teri Hatcher...I like her...a lot! :-)

mr. anonymous, very but few ang case na recto made ang medical diploma, do you know any doctor whose diploma came from such deal?
lil, hala ka, pacontroversial statement , in fairness, ok naman yung school na fatima, medyo on the magastos side nga lang, dami kasi enrollees, reality, medyo educ now is a system of economics, but the pinoy s in the medical field are one of the best in the world, that statement from that tv siries is just plain RACIAL SLUR!
meron halong inggit kasi magagaling ang pinoy, and they noticed, in fact, they know that, just can't accept it.
