The Visit
Dominic recalled part of this poem in Lil's posting....it is late afternoon outside,
but in this room time knows no hour.
it is hello forever, never goodbye,
it is the holding of hands forever and meeting of eyes.
no i do not fear losing your friendship,
because i have won your love.
how easily can anger warm the blood,
but how more easily can love do that.
to light up your eyes,
i only have to kindle your fingers with my hands,
and what lovelier fire is there,
than that behind the pink of your blush.
it is in your absence that i need your presence most,
that i sometimes overlook the need.
but as always as quite as often,
somebody is there who cannot forget.
this little lovely thoughts we treasured most,
for what were then is a discovery now.
why hearts never learn to grow old,
or why lovers having loved do not feel loveless forever.....
Anyone remember this and the rest of it?

i love this poem until now. i even shared it with my students in my literature class.
Maganda yang poem na yan. Sino kaya ang may likha nyan? Punong puno ng pag ibig at pag asa. Naalala ko noon meron tayong isang klasmeyt na gumawa ng isang tula para sa kanyang 'mahal' na kaibigan kaso mo ang nangyari nabasa ni Miss Laniog kaya yun parang dun nagsimula at natapos ang kabanata, hehehehe.
Ok din naman dahil pagkatapos ng yugtong yaon ng kanyang kabataan, nanahimik na lang sya at nangarap na balang araw meron di naman na darating na isang prinsesa (pero hindi yung nakaupo sa tasa, hehehe) na nakalaan para sa kanya (how sweet!). Pero teka parang baliktad yata ang istorya, di ba dapat isang prinsipe ang maghahanap at darating para sa isang prinsesa? Sori na lang, kasi di naman ako prinsipe at wala din akong planong maghanap ng isang prinsesa, hahaha. Mas gusto ko kasi ay isang reyna (pero hindi tipong Armida Siguion Reyna!), gusto ko reyna ng aking puso at kaluluwa, kaya halina't ano pang hinihintay mo dyan, hahahaha.
Sya ako'y yayao na at marami pang trabaho sa kabukiran na sa aki'y naghihintay. Hmmmm, magtanim ay di biro maghapong nakayuko, di man lang makaupo, di man lang makatayo....pagdating sa pagsuyo ibibigay buong buo.

wala kasing maisip sabihin.

Uy Noel at Vic thanks for leaving a comment. At least alam namin na oks kayo. However short or long ang comments ninyo, nagbibigay din kayo ng saya dito. Kaya just keep it coming!
The reunion is fast approaching, yehey.. but my funds are still dwindling, waaaaaaaahhh!
Ingats lang mga kapatid....sugod sa reunion, hehehehe.

Hey klasmeyts, napansin nyo ba yung IM ni TB..terek96... abay okey ay, ang galing pumili.
Egay kamusta na, ang bilis talaga ng panahon, pero mas bumibilis yatang maubos ang buhok ko. Baka kalbo na ako pag dating ng pasko.
With the funds, just wait and there's more to come.
Sana before the end of this month, maiconfirm na natin yung place and list of klasmeyts who will attend + 10 allowance para masaayos na.

btw, wala pa akong news about the venue. I suppose Joey & group are still doing "site analysis" to make sure we get the best place. I will ask Joey of any progress about that, so with the funds. We're really getting closer na so we better have significant progress other wise baka mabitin tayo.
You shouldn't worry too much about the number of attendees. I can assure you, maraming darating now that it's all over town and being talked about.
i'll kep you all posted of any developments. I really hope to see all of you there.
