Meeting of the Minds
Two weeks from today, there will be a meeting of the minds, a mini-reunion of some sort para mapag-usapan ang plano nating grand reunion. Eva offered to host the mini-event at her place in Paltao, on April 12th to be exact, starting @ 5:00 PM Manila time, until who knows! :-)S'yempre, pag nagkita, may kasamang kainan (sagot na rin ni Eva yan!...hehehe), konting inuman (...ah ito sagot ko!), at may kodakan, para naman mas masarap ang usapan.
If it is possible, for those of you na nasa malayo and not able to be there but want to participate, we can try live web broadcasting. Ang kailangan lang ay internet access, webcam, mic, and yahoo messenger. Oh di ba, sosyal, hehehe ...high tech! Just take note of the time. I know some of you are in a different time zone.
Sa meeting na 'to, at the very least, dapat ma-form na ang reunion committee, mapag-usapan ang mga issues listed here at ma-ikalat ang mga flyers na ginawa to officially announce it. Bahala na yung mapipiling committee chairman, treasurer, and sub-committee members ang magpatuloy at mag-ayos nang mga iba pang kailangan. We'll do our best to come up with some good results and keep you all posted.
BTW, kudos to Eva for being proactive about it...and she's doing a wonderful job!

how sad, wala pang nag-ko-comment. (just kidding! :-).
I can't promise to stay awake while Egay is doing his meeting de reunion kila Eva. Cguro kung lunchtime, which is mga 10PM d2 sa Houston, baka gising pa ako.
Here's one unsolicited advice though: stick to the agenda first (which is reunion specifics) before kuwentuhan/catching up. hehehe, i can imagine your kuwentuhan na hindi matapos-tapos . . . plus those flowing agua de pataranta and delectable pulutans.
know exactly when it's going to be so i can participate even when i'm here. anyway, pareho ng time zone kaya no problem for me. kaya lang, maiinggit ako for sure kasi kayo pwede kumain at uminom, paano naman kami na nasa harapan lang ng computer? di bale, bawi na lang kami when the time comes.

zen, gumising ka na lang nang maaga. for sure di pa tapos ang meeting by 5AM texas daylight saving time...baka nga di pa nag-uumpisa...kasi 8PM pa lang dun sa 'pinas! tama ba ako?
Uyy sali din ako dyan sa meeting ha. Makikita nyo kahit sa harap ng computer lang ko sasabayan ko din kau sa pag-inom.Mas masarap yata pulutan ko dito, hehe.
Miss ko din ung kuentuhan part, na alala ko tuloy kami nun ni Orly at Father Ces pag dating ng gabi nagkikita kami noong araw tapos bibili kami ng hot pandesal kay Ka Peling nagkatalo na. Those were the days ika nga.

ogie, i'm still here,medyo busy lang dahil sa audit (both internal & external) pero nagbabasa pa rin ako kahit hindi ako makag post, sige i try ko sa 12th kung makapasok ako sa chikahan para tatlo tayong mainggit nila lil habang si zen ay natutulog ng mahimbing.
Hi, Susan, anong work mo ba, sa Accounting o auditing? Accounting ang work ko dito, kalilipat ko lang ng trabaho na mas malapit sa tinitirhan ko. Mahal kasi ng gasolina ngayon dito, waaahhhhh.Kung puede nga lang magbicycle na lang ako, hehe. Kaso pag nahagip ako ng mga speeding cars baka matigok ako ng wala sa panahon. Kaya yun tiis na lang muna wala choiceeh.
yes Ogie sa acctg. din ako sa louis vuitton, but prior to that i worked for 14 yrs sa citibank, & 2 yrs sa retail co. mahal talagang gasolina kaya wala akong plans lumipat sa states kasi laging long drive at least dito sa guam w/in 10 to 15 minutes nasa office na ako.
Di naman lahat ng work malayo nasa yo na yun Susan kung saan mo gustong pumasok marami din malapit na work dito. Subukan mong mamasyal dito para ma check mo lang.
Maganda pala experience mo dyan. Siguro ang laki ng sueldo mo dyan, hehe. I hire mo na lang akong acctng clerk mo, haha.
Alam ko si Zen boss sa work nya. Iba na talaga matatalino malayo nararating.
