Ka-kaba kaba kaba?

Inaya ako nang asawa kong pumunta sa mall...what?? mall???, yun ang sagot ko agad! She should have known better that I hate going to the mall. All women should know that most men don't like going there. Men, if they have to, go there like he's robbing a bank, hit & run, no turning back. That's usually how men do it...done in 60 seconds!
Pero s'yempre naman being a good husband...ehem ehem...I obliged! So while there, I just sat on a bench watch all the people passing by while she does her thing. Nang mapagod na s'ya or maybe na-ubos na n'ya pera ko ;-), she sat next to me and did the same thing...watch humans from all walks of life, going back & forth.
One group of people we took serious notice were the young ladies. Sabi ko sa wife ko, someone coined a term for women with tattoos at their lower back just before the cracks. With the low-rider trends and thongs, one can't help notice those cute artsy on a lot of them. Little did they know they maybe cute & sexy at times but for men, it's the "barcode of sluts" or "tramp stamp" ...if you know what i mean :-)
I hope my Angela won't be like them when she reach that age. Siguro iba na ang uso pag nagdalaga na ang aking unica hija...I can't imagine kung ano...pero kinakabahan ako...whew!
Try to imagine these young ladies with lower-back tatoos when they get to be in their 50's or 60's...tsk. tsk. tsk...yikes!!!
Ikaw, may anak ka bang dalaga na?

Speaking of teenagers a.k.a age of rebellion hirap pigilan minsan ang mga yan. I have a boy and a girl at pareho kong concern sa kanila. Buti na lang parehong takot sa karayom ung dalawa kaya wala sigurong tattoo na papalagay ung mga yun. Kahit nga ako kahit bayaran mo ko hindi ako magpapalagay ng tattoo (but i reserved the right to change my mind if the price is right, hehe).
you're right, egay. although it would still take ages bago ako talagang kabahan. grabe nga mga kabataan ngayon. however, mas ok na yan kaysa naman maging teenage mom (if u know what i mean). sa pinas yan ang biggest problem. daming 15 or 16 yrs old pa lang, nanay na. that's why as parents we should alwys be like guardian angels all the time. but how to do that when we are not with them 24 hours a day? that's where family education comes in. importante yan!
UPS..
medyo kinabahan ako ah. may wife is also out of the country kaya my unica iha was all alone there at my fathers' house. I just hope my daughter will ever tell me what's happening to her or if ever she's planning to do some thing. Now I realized, how hard it is for my parents to think of me always. Di ba n'ung college, we were also all alone by ourselves far from their protective wings. But courtesy of the IT and electronic wonders, we can check and monitor our loved ones at the other side of the globe. Un nga lang, iba pa rin 'ung presence natin during child rearing. Anyhow, God is always watching and He had the bigger screen..might as well pray for the safety of all our children at all times.
