Main Event Blow-by-blow
Registration started with a surprising early appearance by Lamberto N which from what I've been told never was the anxious one to attend such a gathering.
The event started as scheduled with Fr. Ex leading the mass. Egay D read through the special prayer sent by Fr. Ces via email.
Soon after the mass, the never-ending "kumustahan" started again with more people arriving.
Obet S said his welcome remarks well, narrating a few old elem stories while Egay D was overwelmed & speechless with his so he just let the video "Handog" do the talking. Joey M said his welcome piece with more flares and convictions as usual.
Teachers from both sides, elem & hs, also said a few words. It started with Mrs. Rueda, Mrs. Cruz, Mrs. Paguio, Mrs. Roberto, and Mrs. Hipolito. Mrs. Arellano came a bit late for the opening salvo but she managed to say a few words later. Ms. Tamayo, Ms. Pachecho, Mrs. Espinosa, and of course Sir Ed V also said a few words after.
Soon after, the "kodakan" moment began with all the female attendees getting ready on stage for the once-in-a-lifetime shot while the males facing them did something I could not explain but brought a lot of laughters from everyone.
A group hug of all attendees ensued short after, with everyone doing their best to keep their sanity in place.
More "kumustahan" follows as we began to feast on the food catered by none other than Precy D.
As expected, everyone spent more time talking and high-five'ing and you can't blame them. It's been 30 years or more...you know!
Fine wine brought by Aussie Noel A all the way from down under was raised in a special toast led by Sir Ed V.
Then all the kids started playing....
...ang singing....
...and dancing...
And raffle drawings in between, led by Noel A who was gracious enough to provide the giveways.
An unexpected appearance by Julieta J brought some cheers and consolations as she managed to attend even though she is mourning the death of her father the night before.
A few of the attendees arrived late but their presence were all well noted and appreciated. Juanita "Neneng" Manalo all the way from Aparri was there to grace the event and so was Guadalupe Esguerra.
The night didn't end there as there were more singing...
...and a little bit of drinking...
...and more dancing & singing.
Of course, everyone left with good memories, smiles on their faces, and gifts & souvenirs courtesy of Zen T (yummy chocolates), Egay D (tote bag with towel), Noel A (wines & lots of prizes & giveaways), reunion T-shirts and wine glass with logo from the collected funds.
Unfortunately, the souvenir newsletter I've prepared for distribution didn't materialize as we had some issues with the printing.
However, production of said newsletter is still on-going with more pictures of the event to be added, while full-length DVD is also being considered for distribution.
Minimal fee to cover the production expenses will be charged to anyone interested in acquiring copies of said newsletter and/or DVD.
Fees collected will be added to our remaining funds for future projects.

hello dear friend zen, though you were not there with us in person, you gals & guys , that unfortunately didn't make it to the event, was with us , as always, in our endearing hearts , thank you so much for all the generosities you've shared, in anyway, we are in grattitude, maraming salamat mga kaibigang klasmeyts. egay, without a doubt, galing mo man, keep everyone posted, sarrap magreminisce eh !keep it coming as we weill savor the pleasure of that momentous reunion. thank you & GODBLESS !
Egay, thank you very much for sharing. To see every one again, still know how to have fun & giving us a view of the campus truly brought back a lot of good memories. And to see our teachers, most specially the beloved Mr V & Miss Pacheco, Mrs Espinosa & Miss Tamayo really made me go back to the old times. I am so happy that you guys had a truly GRAND reunion. **tj**

it's final, marami pa rin sa mga guys and gals ang di rin gaanong nagtabaan. of course, yung iba gals, watch out! sa mga guys, 'yung pic na walang pang-itaas, mukhang magsi-swimming pa kayo. take care of your tummies boys! baka next time, the gals will ask kung ilang buwan na kayo on the way. some persons i think also were missing, the dionisio's, gabriels, ogie g.,I recognized ed s.p., medyo malapit na rin ma-top gone. well, rowena c. is correct, tumutulo laway ko..hahaha! good work guys and gals, nice seeing you happy people.
pareng rene, yung picture na nakita mong mga nakabold yung mga guys (isa na ako doon) ay isa sa mga games na concept ni pareng joey. it was really a fun game. imagine ang nagpanalo sa group namin ay ang mga respected teachers natin. nagtanggal sila ng bra, as in bra talaga. kaya ba nila iyon? pero yung aming prizes ay ibinigay na lang namin sa 3 magigiting na mga guro.
from the start e, masaya na ang atmosphere hanggang uwian. kung pwede nga lang i extend. kasi kami man ay bitin. siguradong marami sa mga dumating ay nagsasabing bitin na bitin ang happening. siguro dapat sa susunod ay mas mahaba ang oras na iukol. ano? agree kayo?
the Dionisio's were in baguio "daw". while the Gabriel's are in the US of A. Ed dela Cruz according to him ay nalasing. but his daughter said nahihiya daw umattend.
whatever the case is they sorry na lang sa kanila. na miss nila ang pinaka sa lahat ng reunion.

the reunion was really a blast! i, myself was very happy seeing most if not all of you. gusto ko talaga magdamagan eh kaya lang napagod na rin lahat after more than 12hours of fun. nagpa-reserve pa naman ng rooms, di naman nagamit! i wanted to sleep there kaya lang walang gustong tumabi sa akin eh..hehehe
thanks to you all for making my trip back there a memorable one!

allow me to give such a recognition to a longtime friend obet santos, he truly shares his time with us though wedding anniversary nila ng wifey nya, he stays even to the last minute , sabi nga ni egay , tagal nyong magpaalaman, parang ayaw mahiwalay. to obet, sir, i salute you, thank you bro, indeed para sa ating lahat, ours is a friendship built to last, parang kantang, a long and lasting love , friend of mine.[wink wink ],, nato , i second the motion. pilyo ka. cheers to all , hoy others, kumibo naman kayo.
